I’ve been fascinated with mandalas for a few years now since I took a drawing workshop with Judith Cornell. She was a fabulous teacher, no nonsense, and even those who claimed no drawing talent created incredibly beautiful works of art in her workshop. Finally figured out this most excellent micro macrame pattern and had loads of fun knotting. This micro macrame necklace features a vintage turquoise button as the center focal point. I made a pair of matching micro macrame earrings with the left over cord threads. It is a substantial piece of adornment, but very light weight.

Just finished this necklace custom order for a client. Patina ceramic Buddha pendant with wire wrap and assorted lampwork glass, silver plated, semi-precious stone and beads. Strung and knotted on the thinest black leather cord. This necklace is long, about 17 1/2 inches and could be double wrapped as well. Namaste.
