One of my favorite plants in the Mojave Desert is the Joshua Tree. I was playing with polymer clay and was inspired to make a few pendants. This one has the “ghost” of a Joshua Tree design. Matches up well with this macrame necklace I knotted. I’m liking this new-to-me design for the necklace. Enjoy … Continue reading
“Your work is to discover your work and then with all your heart to give yourself to it.” – Buddha Special Buddha ceramic pendant from Birgitta Lejonklou (AngelWhisperer at Etsy). Knotted by me using a modification and twist on one of Sherri Stokey’s macrame tutorials.

And, micro macrame necklaces … Continue reading
“And it stoned me to my soul Stoned me just like Jelly Roll And it stoned me And it stoned me to my soul Stoned me just like goin’ home And it stoned me” (Van Morrison)
Recently ordered some Linhas Setta cord from Knotmore.com and tried it out on a quartz point. This cord is great for working with stones. It is waxed, so it’s a little thicker and more substantial than C-Lon cord. That wax gives it some gripping power. I’m liking it very much.
Peacocks…beautiful and captivating in all their splendor. Highly symbolic in many spiritual traditions (read more about that here.) Black Peacocks with Japanese Persimmons Jessie Arms Botke, 1940 Oil and Gold Leaf on Panel I really like the texture in the tail feathers in this piece of artwork. For the January 2013 Art Bead Scene Challenge, I … Continue reading
