Joshua Tree Inspiration

One of my favorite plants in the Mojave Desert is the Joshua Tree. I was playing with polymer clay and was inspired to make a few pendants. This one has the “ghost” of a Joshua Tree design. Matches up well with this macrame necklace I knotted. I’m liking this new-to-me design for the necklace. Enjoy … Continue reading »

Full Moon Inspiration

Recently inspired by the full moon on the 25th. Finally completed this cuff that I started last August for the 6th Bead Soup Blog Hop. This bead embroidered bracelet features a ceramic focal bead by my favorite ceramic bead artist, the talented jewelry designer Birgitta Lejonklou (AngelWhisperer on Etsy.)

To The Point

Recently ordered some Linhas Setta cord from Knotmore.com and tried it out on a quartz point. This cord is great for working with stones. It is waxed, so it’s a little thicker and more substantial than C-Lon cord. That wax gives it some gripping power. I’m liking it very much.
