This is the final Art Bead Scene Challenge for 2012.
Thank goodness it’s a lovely winter scene without all of the “red and green” holiday scene background!

It took me some time to come up with a design. I decided that I wanted to try my hand at needle tatting. So, I purchased some tatting needles and surfed for an on line video and the rest is history. Ironically enough, my Grandmother was a master seamstress and tatter.
Materials used: tatting thread, seed beads, felt, buttons, needle and thread.

What a striking and utterly unique interpretation of the Erte print! Beautiful work! Reading your post calls to mind my husband’s grandmother, and the moments we shared as I cleaned up after dinner and she sat at the kitchen table tatting! How I wish I could turn back the clock, walk away from the dishes and linger at her side.
You amaze me as every time and very often You dare to try something new 🙂
love it <3<3 !!
Thanks. 🙂
