It’s been quite some time since I’ve shared a Bead Table Wednesday post.
So here it is.
I’m calling this one the Cactus Garden Series. I get lots of color inspiration from the cactus and succulents at the nursery.
The colors fit so well with the southwestern palette. I’ve really been liking the matte seed beads lately.
Other than trying to stay cool, I’ve been attempting to finish up one more piece for the
Bead Soup Blog Party 3rd Reveal on August 25th. And kicking around some ideas for the Challenge of Travel Blog Hop.
Stay tuned to see what creations are forthcoming for both of those events.
Hey there, this is so beautiful!! It looks amazing!
I just started Macrame and I am far away from this. But still, may I ask you what cord did you use for this and how thick the cord is? I hope one day I will be able to create sth beautiful similar to this 😉
Thanks for stopping by.
This one is a cotton yarn. I used it to macrame around the wire. You can use any thicker type of yarn, but it is easier if the yarn is not too elastic.
Want. So. Badly. I wish you lived closer, I am just awful at teaching myself macrame.
I wish we lived closer too. It would be fun to teach you a few knots. It can be a challenge trying to learn it from a book. There are times that I look at a pattern and can’t figure it out, so I just improvise. Believe it or not, I can’t figure out bead weaving at all. Probably should take a class when I get a spare moment.
