I’ve always liked this painting by Edward Hopper
Nighthawks (1942)
Can’t everyone relate to the late night, cheap diner experience?
I think we’ve all been there and done that at some point in our development.
Who knew, even the Simpson’s had an episode featuring this cheap diner backdrop?
Enough talk, here’s the jewelry design for the month.
My sister has a birthday this month and I’m hoping she will like this gift coming her way.
Materials used: assorted seed beads, C-Lon cord, copper chain, jumprings, clasp, silk sari cord, embroidery thread
,lampwork glass headpins, lucite flowers, and a Lipstick Ranch rustic “sisters” charm.
I opted to work with Brandi Hussey’s Color Palette 3 for this months Art Bead Scene Challenge.
See what others have created for the challenge this month at the flickr group.
So creative and fabulous — your sister will be thrilled, I’m sure!
Hey Miss Cece! This is a dynamite design. The colors are dynamic and positively buzzing with life! I can tell you love your sister very much. I wanted you to know that you were the random winner of the book Bohemian Inspired Jewelry from my blog. I just need you to send me your mailing address and I will send it right off to you! Congrats on being chosen for the Art Bead Featured Artist! Your designs astound me.
Enjoy the day

Thank you. She’s my lil sis. Hopefully she receives it soon and likes it. Almost kept that one for me! Emailed you my snail mail address.
This is my favorite entry from the challenge. What you do with fiber and beads always amazes me! I know your sister is going to love sporting this creation – it goes with everything!
Thank you. It was lots of fun to figure out how to work the multi-strands into the design without getting it too bulky. Truthfully, I liked it and almost wanted to keep it. But, I figure that I can always make another one.
What an awesome gift. Your sister will love this. : )
Hope so.
It’s really stunning, especially the way all the cords come together so tidy and purposeful. Just a beautiful design all over.
Thank you. I love trying to figure out how make all the connections work.
