First off, thank you to all the wonderful beading soupers who took the time to stop by, view and comment on my Bead Soup Blog Party post. I’m still hopping the list and enjoying all the creative sights.
Celebrating vernal equinox at the end of the week. Someone should tell Ma Nature that it’s almost fall. Really, still 100 degrees plus here in the valley. Here’s what on my bead table this Wednesday:
Lately, I’m smitten with ceramics and fabrics. Working on a few new designs while I wait for it to cool off over here:
Moved into the new studio last week, but still just a bit too warm to do any serious torching. The ventilation system is working splendidly and the “propane guy” is going to stop by today for a look see about some serious fuel capacity. Here are a few more photos of the space…
No doubt, that work surface will never, ever look this clear and clean again. There’s something totally unimaginative and creation blocking about a desk that’s bare. However, sometimes the clutter reaches a point where it’s too much and I can’t even think. Trying to find a happy medium. Create and enjoy your day.
That is just ALL kinds of awesome — and I agree — work spaces are never clean unless it’s picture day!
Great space, enjoy! My studio is a disaster, it’s really quite pitiful. I have to move ten things to get to the one I need. I can handle clutter, but not disaster!
What a wonderful new studio You have got !! and clean yes …..dont stay that way very long :)……..I am at the moment going through my stash and selling of things I do not use much any more…(big time Feng Shui work) The red flowers are so very pretty (ceramic)!
I should do what you are doing… going through stash and getting rid of what I don’t use much. But, the difficulty is, I never know what I’ll want to use!
